Where Can Blocks of Amethyst Be Found?

Blocks of Amethyst naturally generate inside Amethyst Geodes, which are found underground in the Overworld between Y-levels -64 and 30. Amethyst Geodes contain three types of amethyst blocks:

• Block of Amethyst (fully solid and decorative)
• Budding Amethyst (produces Amethyst Clusters over time)
• Amethyst Clusters (growing crystal formations)

Players can also craft a Block of Amethyst by placing four Amethyst Shards in a square inside a Crafting Table. Since Amethyst Shards regenerate on Budding Amethyst blocks, players can farm Amethyst to craft more Blocks of Amethyst over time.

What Can Players Do with Blocks of Amethyst?

Blocks of Amethyst are mainly decorative, adding a shimmering purple crystal aesthetic to builds. They work well in magical structures, futuristic bases, and celestial-themed designs.

Players can also use Blocks of Amethyst to craft Tinted Glass, which blocks light but remains see-through, making it perfect for one-way windows, mob farms, and darkroom designs.
