Hardened Blue Stained Glass

What is Hardened Blue Stained Glass?

A Hardened Blue Stained Glass block is a durable, explosion-resistant version of standard Blue Stained Glass, exclusive to Minecraft Bedrock Edition and Education Edition. It retains the deep blue hue of regular stained glass while offering increased strength, making it perfect for aquatic builds, futuristic structures, and secure bases.

Unlike regular glass, Hardened Stained Glass does not shatter when broken and always drops as an item, even without Silk Touch.

Where Can Hardened Blue Stained Glass Be Found?

Hardened Blue Stained Glass does not generate naturally and must be crafted using the Education Edition or Bedrock Edition’s chemistry system. To craft it, players need:

  1. Aluminum Oxide – Obtained using the Element Constructor.

  2. Boron Trioxide – Created in the Compound Creator.

  3. Blue Stained Glass – Crafted from Glass and Blue Dye (obtained from Lapis Lazuli or Cornflowers).

These materials are then combined in a crafting grid, yielding Hardened Blue Stained Glass.

This glass block is both decorative and functional, making it ideal for:

  • Futuristic sci-fi bases, pairing well with Quartz, End Rods, and Iron Blocks.

  • Explosion-proof windows for secure builds, protecting against creeper and TNT blasts.
