What are Warped planks?

In Minecraft, warped planks are a unique variety of wood planks crafted from the vibrant, otherworldly warped stems. Where can you find warped planks?

To obtain warped planks in Minecraft, you’ll first need to locate warped trees, which can be found in the Warped Forest biome of the Nether. These trees are easily recognizable by their cyan-colored stems and blue-green foliage. Once you’ve found them, use any tool, preferably an axe for quicker results, to chop down the trees and collect the warped stems. After gathering enough stems, head to your crafting table and place the warped stems in any crafting slot; each stem will produce four warped planks. With your new warped planks, you can enhance your crafting and building projects, adding a unique ethereal aesthetic to your structures.

The Nether Update aimed to enhance the player experience by diversifying the landscape with rich biomes, intriguing mobs, and valuable resources. The Warped Forest biome is characterized by its towering warped trees, which feature a striking blue-green color palette and create an almost otherworldly atmosphere. Did you know?

In reality, there isn’t a direct equivalent to Minecraft’s warped planks, but they may draw inspiration from exotic or specially treated woods. Notable examples include teak wood, known for its durability and water resistance, often featuring a golden-brown hue and commonly used in outdoor furniture, decking, and boat building. Another parallel is Ipe wood, or Brazilian Walnut, which is characterized by its density and strength, presenting a dark brown to olive-green color. This wood is favored for high-quality decking, flooring, and outdoor structures.
