Cake with Red Candle

What is a Cake with Red Candle?

A Cake with Red Candle is a decorative and interactive block in Minecraft, created by placing a Red Candle on top of a Cake. This allows players to light the candle for celebrations, romantic settings, or festive decorations. When the Cake is eaten, the Candle remains, making it perfect for Valentine’s Day builds, medieval banquets, and fiery-themed parties.

Like all Candle Cakes, the Red Candle can be lit using Flint and Steel or a Fire Charge, and the flame can be extinguished by right-clicking.

Where Can Cake with Red Candle Be Found?

A Cake with Red Candle does not generate naturally and must be crafted by players. To create one:

  1. Craft a Cake – Using 3 Wheat, 3 Buckets of Milk, 2 Sugar, and 1 Egg in a Crafting Table.
  2. Craft a Red Candle – Made from 1 String and 1 Red Dye (obtained from Poppies, Roses, Beetroots, or Red Tulips).
  3. Place the Cake down first – Then, right-click the Cake with the Red Candle to attach it.
  4. Light the Candle – Use Flint and Steel or a Fire Charge to ignite it.

Once placed, the Cake can still be eaten slice by slice, and when fully consumed, the Red Candle remains behind as a separate block.
